William Siff, L.Ac is a medical herbalist, licensed acupuncturist, and ethnobotanist with over 25 years of clinical experience. He specializes in using medicinal plants and phytotherapy for therapeutic benefits and health optimization. Integrating traditional wisdom from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine with modern, evidence-based insights, he creates protocols that are both comprehensive and effective.
With a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Asian Medicine and certification by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), William is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health through natural methods.
William deeply understands each patientā€™s individual health picture, recognizing how balance and imbalance manifest. He specializes in diagnosing patterns and sharing his insights in way that removes the guesswork and empowers you to navigate your own health journey with clarity and ease.
An innovator in the field of plant-based medicine, William has spent over two decades working with individuals and groups to successfully incorporate medicinal plants into their lifestyles as an essential element of a healthy lifestyle.
In addition to his clinical work, William is also an entrepreneur, author, medicinal plant grower and formulator of botanical products. William created the Goldthread Herb Farm and Apothecary, where he cultivated over 100 varieties of medicinal plants, ran the Farm to Pharmacy internship program, and founded the countryā€™s first medicinal herb CSA program. The farm supplied his clinical practice and retail herbal pharmacy with local, organic plant medicines, and served the community as a successful new model of effective and affordable health care rooted in nature.Ā
With the goal of expanding Goldthreadā€™s reach and impact, William formulated a line of functional beverages that make it easy for people living busy, modern lives to access the power of medicinal plants.
